The invention relates to a plug-in connection between two tubular workpieces made of concrete, each having an inner lining made of plastic, one of which form a spigot end and the other a socket end receiving the spigot end, the inner linings encompassing the end face of the spigot end and the circumferential sealing flanges which cross over the socket mirror have between which a joint seal is provided.
With plug connections between tubular workpieces made of concrete with an inner lining made of plastic as corrosion protection, for example between pipes or manhole rings, there is the difficulty of providing a joint seal between the inner linings, which creates a corrosion-resistant connection between the inner linings of the workpieces to be connected to one another, without on-site to have to take complex sealing measures. For this purpose, it is already known to reshape the inner linings made of a thermoplastic in the area of the spigot ends and the socket ends by the action of heat in such a way that radially outwardly projecting, circumferential sealing flanges are obtained which, after the casting of the tubular concrete body, the end face of the spigot end or overlap the socket mirror so that when inserting the spigot end of one into the socket end of the other of the two workpieces to be connected, the sealing flanges of the spigot end and the socket end are axially opposite one another and can accommodate a corresponding, possibly load-transferring joint seal between the two inner linings via the sealing flanges connects tightly and corrosion-resistant. The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a plug connection between two tubular workpieces made of concrete each having an inner lining made of plastic in such a way that a corrosion-resistant joint seal which meets all requirements can be created with a comparatively low production outlay, without the restrictions imposed by predetermined minimum radii for the to be subject to free flow cross-section.

The engagement of the circumferential edge of the inner lining in the front profile groove of the axially parallel leg of the angle profile forms a labyrinth seal at a corresponding engagement depth, which generally precludes penetration by aggressive media to the concrete body. The sealing effect can, however, be increased if the groove walls of the profile groove on the end face bear against the circumferential edge of the inner lining under elastic prestress in the edge region. In addition, the edge of the inner lining can be glued at least in some areas within the profile groove, which not only affects the sealing effect, but also provides additional protection against pulling off the angular profile from the inner lining, although the angular profile usually results from projections in the concrete body of the concrete body of the workpiece will be anchored.
Particularly simple constructional relationships result when the joint seal is part of the angular profile of the inner lining of one of the two workpieces, that is to say is assigned either to the angular profile of the spigot end or the socket end of a workpiece. If the edge of the inner lining engaging in the profile groove is offset radially outwards relative to the adjoining section of the inner lining by the thickness of the groove wall facing away from the concrete body of the workpieces, then the surface of the axially parallel leg of the angular profiles that limits the flow cross section of the tubular workpieces is flush with the the area of the inner lining that delimits the flow cross-section, so that there is no need to fear a constriction of the flow cross-section due to the separate additional profile. In the area of the edge engaging in the profile groove, the associated circumferential elongation of the inner lining can be absorbed by the elastic properties of the plastic of the inner lining, so that in general no special reshaping of the inner linings is required for this.

As can be seen in particular from FIG. 1, the tubular workpieces 1, 2 to be joined together made of concrete, for example pipes or manhole rings, have a spigot end 3 on one end face and a socket end 4 on the opposite end face. The workpieces 1, 2 are each provided with an inner lining 5 made of plastic, which are anchored with anchor knobs 6 in the concrete body. At the end, the inner linings 5 are each provided with a circumferential angle profile 8, 9 anchored in the concrete body with the aid of lugs 7, which made of an elastomeric material can follow the flow cross section of the workpieces 1, 2 even in the area of smaller radii due to its elastic extensibility. As can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, the axially parallel legs 10 of the angle profiles 8, 9 form a circumferential, front profile groove 11 into which the circumferential edge of the inner lining 5 engages. The other radially outwardly projecting leg forms a sealing flange 12 which, in the case of the angular profile 8, engages over the end face 13 of the tip end 3 and, in the case of the angular profile 9 in the region of the socket end 4, covers the socket mirror 14 in an edge region.
In the plug-in connection of the two workpieces 1 and 2 shown in FIG. 1, the sealing flanges 12 of the two angle profiles 8, 9 are thus opposite one another with respect to the joint 15 resulting between the end face 13 of the tip end 3 and the socket mirror 14, so that between the Sealing flanges 12, a circumferential joint seal 16 can be provided, which, close to the sealing flanges 12 of the angle profiles 8, 9, closes the joint 15 with respect to aggressive media flowing through the tubular workpieces 1, 2. In order to also seal the joint 15 against external influences, an additional seal 17 can be provided between the spigot end 3 and the socket end 4.
As indicated in FIG. 2, the profile groove 11 of the angle profiles 8, 9 for receiving the circumferential edge of the respective inner lining 5 can encompass this circumferential edge with pretension, so that a tight connection between the inner lining 5 and the angle profiles 8, 9 can only be achieved by the attachment of the angle profiles 8, 9 is achieved on the circumferential edge of the inner lining 5, although additional measures can be taken if necessary, e.g. B. by gluing the edge of the inner lining 5 into the profile groove 11.
The production of workpieces 1, 2 for a plug connection according to the invention is simple because no deformation work is required on the inner lining 5.
